Discover the fascinating architecture of the iconic trulli, traditional Apulian dry stone houses, on this private tour of picturesque Alberobello with an exclusive English-speaking guide just for you and your group.
Meet your guide at the arranged time in via Indipendenza, one of the most important streets in Alberobello, ready to begin your tour of this fascinating Italian town. Accompanied by your expert English-speaking guide, you'll discover one of the most famous attractions in southern Italy: the trulli, traditional dry stone huts with iconic conical roofs.
The first stop on your tour will be a viewpoint from which you'll have impressive views over the two Rioni, or districts of Alberobello. Admire the contrasts of the whitewashed houses, their dark stone roofs and the green trees scattered throughout the town and marvel at the peculiar shapes of the roofs against the skyline.
You'll then continue your private tour onwards to the Rioni Monti neighbourhood, which stands out for its trullo church: the Church of Sant'Antonio.
As you explore the beautiful town, your guide will reveal the fascinating history of the trulli of Alberobello, the techniques used to construct them and the legends surrounding their origins. Then we'll end the tour.
