Discover the impressive legacy that different civilizations have left in a beautiful Andalusian city on our Almuñécar Private Tour. You'll have a guide just for you, your partner, family or friends.
We'll meet outside Najarra Palace and admire the beautiful decoration of its gardens before starting our private tour.
After admiring this neo-Arabic building, we'll start walking through Almuñecar's old quarter to see its main monuments. These include San Miguel Castle, the Church of the Incarnation and the Roman Aqueduct.
As we stroll around Almuñecar we'll discuss some of the most fascinating chapters of its history. We'll hear tales about its first settlers, the Phoenicians, as well as Romans, Muslims and Christians and the role they played in this Granadan town.
We'll then follow in the footsteps of the Roman Empire by visiting the El Majuelo Botanical and Archaeological Park. Here, as we observe the varied flora, we'll also see the ruins of an ancient fish salting factory dating back to the 5th century BC. Nearby, we'll find Saints Rock, where we'll see the iconic sculpture of Abderramán I.
Following 2 hours of history and sightseeing, we'll finish our private tour of Alumuñecar in a central point of your choice.
By booking a private tour not only will you have a guide just for you, but you'll also be able to do the tour on any day of the week and alter the route to suit your interests. In addition, if you're in a large group you'll save money.
You can book up to 3 days in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
