Did you know that in Bar Harbor paranormal activity is most active during the day? If you are passionate about scary stories and if you are a real brave, meet us at the indicated time, at the Agamont Park Gazebo and begin this spine-chilling ghost tour. A search for paranormal activity awaits!
We'll start our spooky journey by hearing tales about the indigenous peoples who once inhabited the area. The Wabanaki Confederacy's oral traditions speak of ancient monster sightings that intriguingly align with contemporary accounts of encounters with unknown creatures.
Next, we'll visit the Bar Harbor Inn, renowned for its ghost stories. Formerly a private club for wealthy gentlemen known as The Reading Room, it has been the site of countless ghost sightings. One of the club's members, though not a Ghostbuster, has significantly contributed to the field of authentic parapsychological research.
As we stroll along the scenic Shore Path, we'll hear ghost stories intertwined with spectacular views of landmarks such as Egg Rock Lighthouse and Balance Rock. This picturesque walkway is the perfect backdrop for eerie seafaring tales, accounts of Maine's haunted lighthouses, and reports of a local sea serpent...
Our tour will conclude with stories from the town's locals, who have also experienced encounters with the unknown. Seemingly ordinary shops and apartments have become the site of unexplained events. Even the sky above has been allegedly haunted by UFOs. Do you believe it?
Finally, after 1.5 hours together, we'll bring this eerie experience to an end.
