Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we’ll meet at 1 Cala Luna Street to head to the port and begin our boat tour of the Gulf of Orosei. Are you ready to set sail? Let’s go!
During the cruise, we’ll admire the unique coves, ravines, and cliffs of the Sardinian coastline. We’ll also make scenic stops to take photos in front of iconic landmarks like Cala Goloritzé and the Piscinas de Venecia. Did you know that Goloritzé Beach was formed after a landslide in the 1960s?
During the trip, you can toast with a glass of wine and enjoy a slice of a traditional Italian cake at the onboard bar. After 7 or 8 hours of sailing, we’ll wrap up the experience back at the starting point.
Itinerary Changes
- Two scenic stops are guaranteed exclusively for taking photos from the boat. Stops for swimming are not guaranteed and are always at the captain’s discretion, depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day.
- Depending on the size of the group and the season, the type of boat may vary.
Tour of the Grotta del Bue Marino
When you book, you can select the tour option that includes a visit to the Gruta del Bue Marino. On this tour, we’ll explore one of the most popular caves in the area, where you’ll discover the habitat of the monk seals along the Sardinian coast.
After approximately 1 hour at the grotto, we'll board the boat again and continue the tour around the Gulf of Orosei.
Important: admission to the Grotta del Bue Marino is not included. You will need to purchase it in advance following the instructions we'll send after booking, or buy it on the day at the ticket office. Without this ticket, entry to the cave will not be possible.
Languages
There will be recorded commentary on board during the journey. These explanations will always be in several languages and will be broadcast on the basis of the majority nationality of the passengers. If you choose the option with a visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino, please note that inside, the recordings will only be in Italian and English.
