With this private tour of Detroit, you'll discover one of the lesser known cities in the United States. You'll visit its most symbolic places with a guide to accompany you.
We'll meet at 10 am at The Guardian Building entrance. The 40 storey skyscraper is one of the most important and one of the tallest sites in Detroit. As we step inside the building, also referred to as 'Detroit's Cathedral of Finance', you'll marvel at its art deco design and many award-winning architectural innovations.
Next, we'll continue on to Hart Plaza, named after the US senator Phillip Hart, in downtown Detroit. Here, we'll discover the various monuments and the city's history. Did you know that this square was the original settlement that later became Detroit?
As we walk along Detroit's riverbank admiring its impressive skyline, we'll reach Matius Park where we'll find the urban art that floods the streets around the city.
After two hours and a half wandering, the private tour will end at Matius Park.
By booking this tour you'll not only enjoy a private English speaking guide, you'll also be able to take part any day of the week and if you're a big group you'll save money!
