Ribeira Sacra Segway Tour
Upon booking, you'll be able to choose between the following options. All depart at the indicated time from the restaurant A Cantina de Doade, including an English-speaking guide and the segway and helmet rental. You can find out more about each of them below:
Souto de Valguire + Pena do Castelo (1.5-2 Hours)
After hopping on the segways, we'll start the tour to Souto de Valguire, where we'll admire its century-old chestnut trees. Then we'll go to the viewpoint Pena do Castelo, one of the highest in the area that will allow us to discover the Sil canyon. We'll review the history of Ribeira Sacra and its strong wine tradition. Plus, we'll also sample a glass of wine before heading back to the starting point.
Pena do Castelo + Bodega (3 Hours)
If you choose this option, we'll head to the Pena do Castelo viewpoint, a fascinating place to admire the beauty of the Sil Canyon. We'll also enjoy a glass of Ribeira Sacra D.O. wine on the highest bench in the area and, before returning to Doade, we'll visit the Regina Viarum winery and enjoy a wine tasting.
Souto de Valguire, Pena do Castelo, Winery + Picnic (4 Hours)
Short after climbing onto our segways, we'll leave Doade and head towards the Souto de Valguaire path with its centennial chestnut trees, and make another stop at the Pena do Castelo lookout point. This view will offer a breathtaking panorama of the Sil Canyon, which looks as pretty as a postcard!
In this magical place, we'll enjoy a glass of Denominación de Origen Ribeira Sacra wine. To make the most of this experience, we'll head to the Petrón winery, where, along with discovering the wine elaboration process, we'll sit down for our picnic of traditional regional products and, of course, another glass of Ribeira Sacra wine.
