Can you imagine enjoying afternoon tea with the best views of Edinburgh Castle? Without a doubt, this is British tradition that you can't miss out on in the Scottish capital!
If you want the authentic British experience, having afternoon tea with views of Edinburgh Castle is an experience you'll never forget. At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 145 of Princes Street and begin an experience that will introduce you to one of the UK's finest traditions.
Once we're all here, we'll head to a historic Edinburgh tearoom, where we'll escort you to a table for one of the best views in the Scottish capital. Edinburgh Castle will be towering in front of you!
This carefully designed and charming lounge is one of the most popular places in the city for an afternoon tea, a must for lovers of tea, history and gastronomy.
Afternoon tea is one of the most important and well-known British traditions. A selection of sweet and savoury treats, served on a three-storey tray. On the day of the activity, you can choose between a sweet or savoury tray, depending on your preferences, accompanied by a drink, a choice of 10 types of tea from different regions of the world, or coffee. You'll enjoy sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries.
As well as that, during the experience, we'll tell you some interesting facts about afternoon tea, such as the most commonly used ingredients, the origin of this tradition or how it went from being a luxurious meal to becoming a true national symbol.
After 1.5 hours, and with this good taste in our mouths, we'll leave the tearoom and say goodbye at the meeting point.
