Horrible experiencia.

Horrible experience. We arrived in Naples on time, and Carmen accompanied us to the local train to Pompeii, where Nunzia was supposed to pick us up. The train stopped twice along the way and arrived somewhat late. No one was there to meet us. After wandering around the area for a while, I contacted Carmen, who gave me Nunzia's phone number. When we finally got through to her, she told us that the Spanish-speaking guide was no longer available and that we should install an app on our phones. We had paid for a Spanish-speaking guide and didn't even get one.

The trip to Pompeii was quite an ordeal. Let me preface this by saying that we've been Civitatis customers for many years and have never had any problems, which is why we decided to take this particular excursion, even though it wasn't exactly cheap. We booked the tour three days in advance, as indicated on the app, but they hadn't issued the tickets, so there were no openings and they had to change the schedule three times. And when we arrived in Pompeii, our tickets didn't include an audio guide, which we had to pay for.

Translate this opinion into English.

We have confirmed that the tour proceeded as normal. Please note that the audio guide is a mobile app that is downloaded at the time of the tour, so we can confirm that it was available. We recommend reporting any issues you may encounter so that we can provide immediate support. We apologize for any inconvenience. Opinion translated. Show original.

The train from Florence arrived 10 minutes late, and our group left. In Naples, the agency was incredibly helpful. They matched us with the next group, found us a private Spanish-speaking guide, accompanied us to the gates of Pompeii, and were very attentive on the way back. Perhaps the worst part was the wait time after missing the initial group, but everyone managed. The transfer from Florence was a bit of a hassle, but it's doable and worth it. Opinion translated.

Very well, I just wanted to say that all the steps of the activity should be indicated. Indicate that it stops in Naples, that you'll be taking another train, the station changes, etc. Not everyone accepts activities that aren't direct due to various circumstances, and you don't indicate anything in advance. The guide was a fantastic 12. Opinion translated. Show original.

The best option to make a parenthesis like we did about Renaissance Florence. A trip to Ancient Rome with Pompeii and its inhabitants who, thanks to their legacy, learned about all their customs and houses, even with decorations on their walls. Opinion translated. Show original.

I've booked with Civitatis before, and it always went well. This time, it was a complete disaster. Read the description carefully, because the management is truly terrible. You arrive in Naples and don't even have time to go to the bathroom or buy something to eat. Don't go in the summer! Very poor management by the on-site provider.

Translate this opinion into English.

We're sorry that the service wasn't as organized as you expected. The tour description specifies everything included and the route taken. We'll take this into account when improving the service we offer. Opinion translated. Show original.

Great experience, knowledgeable guide. Tour extremely well prepared from communication, to waiting for us with a sign to connect to the next train to Pompeii. Highly recommended.

Communication was severely lacking. Per our instructions there waa supposed to be a tour representative to meet us at platform 24. No one was there. Took 25 mins and three phone calls which made us miss our train connection making us late to the tour. Then when we finally arrived in Nappoli we had no idea where to go or what gate to enter in and everyone was mad at us. The representative told us to enter theough the exit line, and so security stopped us. Not good!!! Very unhappy.

We're sorry for the misunderstanding. According to the messages on our platform, the local team informed you that one of their colleagues would wait for you at the Central Station at Platform 24 in Naples, not in Florence.

It was the worst quality-price activity. Bad logistics, organization and instructions for the client! Damn what is offered is very poor and with very bad service! If they could give me my money back, it would barely compensate for the bad time I had with my family.

We have been able to verify that our local team did everything possible to carry out the service as described on our website, providing you with all the necessary instructions and details well in advance to make the Florence-Naples-Pompeii route in both directions, and being available all the time to solve the various problems that have occurred in this process. We are sorry that, having boarded the wrong train, your experience at the excavations had to be shorter than normal to respect the schedules and duration that we indicate on our website. Still, we were happy to find that InStazione managed to find a private transfer to take you directly to the meeting point with the guide, although it was not possible to arrive on time.
