Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael... On this private tour of the Uffizi Gallery, you'll visit the most famous museum in Florence with an exclusive English-speaking guide. Tickets included!
Located on the banks of the Arno River, the Uffizi Gallery in Florence is one of the world's great art museums. Its extraordinary collection of paintings is displayed throughout the various galleries of the former Palazzo degli Uffizi, which once housed the offices of magistrates, courts, and guilds. These rooms were commissioned in 1560 by Cosimo I de' Medici and designed by Giorgio Vasari, one of the leading architects of the Italian Renaissance.
Today, these former administrative halls house one of the world's most important museums of Renaissance art. We'll discover its masterpieces! To do so, we'll meet at your hotel in central Florence, and from there we'll walk to the Uffizi Gallery.
After entering the museum with a reserved ticket, we'll begin our private tour of the Uffizi Gallery with an English-speaking guide. Given the museum's vast size, we'll focus on the main works. Among them are Primavera and The Birth of Venus, both by Sandro Botticelli.
We’ll also admire other important masterpieces of art history, such as The Annunciation by Leonardo da Vinci, the Madonna of the Goldfinch by Raphael, and the polyptych of The Coronation of the Virgin by Lorenzo Monaco.
Since this is a private tour, we can linger on the works you like best or dive deeper into specific periods: Gothic, Quattrocento, Cinquecento, Baroque, etc. You choose!
After a 2-hour tour, we'll conclude this private visit to the Uffizi Gallery with an English-speaking guide, and you'll be free to stay longer on your own, exploring the museum's galleries that you enjoyed the most.
Among the main masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, the following stand out:
This private tour of the Uffizi Gallery includes pickup on foot at your hotel in the center of Florence at the designated time. If you're not staying in the Tuscany capital or your hotel is over 0,62 mi (1 km) from the Piazza della Repubblica, we'll meet directly at this square.
The access times to the museum may vary depending on the availability, especially during high peak seasons. Please note that on the first Sunday of the month, the tickets to the Uffizi Museum are free.
