Discover the true essence of Andalusia on our Frigiliana & Nerja Day Trip. You'll explore the whitewashed streets of Frigiliana and visit one of the best viewpoints on the Costa del Sol.
On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from the Hotel El Puerto in Fuengirola ready for a day of Andalusian adventure! After around an hour's drive, you'll arrive in the picturesque village of Frigiliana, characterised by its traditional whitewashed, terracotta-roofed houses nestled in the hills of Malaga province.
You'll then have free time to discover the village at your own pace and make your way to the Arab Castle to Lizar. Perched on the highest hilltop in the town, this old castle was used by some of the last defenders of Medieval Islamic Spain. Today, this building houses the only cane honey factory in Europe.
Halfway through the day, we'll leave Frigiliana behind and make our way to Nerja, an old fishing village that in recent years has become one of Malaga's most popular tourist resorts. We'll wander through its streets while learning about the city's history until we get to the Balcón de Europa, or the "Balcony of Europe". From this viewpoint, we'll drink in unforgettable views of the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea.
Before hopping back on the bus, you'll definitely want to try some of the delicious local gastronomy and browse some local products!
We'll return to the bus and start making our way back to Fuengirola, where we'll say our goodbyes after 9 hours and 15 minutes in total.
