Incredible sea creatures from the Cantabrian Sea to the Pacific Ocean are waiting to meet you at the Gijon Aquarium. Take a deep-sea adventure with your ticket to the Gijon Aquarium!
Located on the shores of Poniente Beach, the Gijon Aquarium is one of the main attractions in this Asturian city.
You'll get the chance to admire a wide range of marine species from all over the planet. We recommend visiting the area dedicated to the Cantabrian Sea, where you'll find sturgeons, eels, salmon, trout and many other fascinating creatures that are characteristic of Asturias and the rest of the Cantabrian coast.
In the Atlantic area, you'll get the chance to marvel at octopuses, monkfish, sardines, crabs, jellyfish... The list goes on! Don't forget to visit the Oceanarium, home to several species of turtles, rays, the Patagonian toothfish ... And huge sharks!
The aquarium also has an area dedicated to the coral reefs, where you'll see spectacularly different types of fish, such as clownfish, blowfish, cowfish, and porcupinefish. You'll be fascinated!
Below you'll find the Gijon Aquarium's opening hours for the 2023-2024 season:
