Experience the raw, untouched beauty of the Kona coastline on a helicopter tour! See incredible landscapes from a bird's-eye view and create lifelong memories.
The Kona Coast, found on the Big Island of Hawaii's western shores, is known for its world-famous coffee, paradise beaches, and historic landmarks. There's much to explore in this region of the island, but have you ever thought of seeing it all from above?
During the booking process, select any of the following 4 options and soar above the island for a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Each flight leaves from a launch pad near the Kona International Airport and offers breathtaking views, rich cultural insights, and a chance to see some of Hawaii’s most iconic landmarks! Below, you'll find a brief description of each tour:
Fly over Kona’s iconic coastline, with views of ancient Kaloko Fish Ponds, Kailua Bay, and Kona Coffee farms on this 30-minute flyover tour. See the pristine waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, home to colorful coral reefs and the Captain Cook Monument.
This tour includes the same landmarks as the Kona Coast Scenic Tour, plus a flight over Magic Sands Beach, the Ka’upulehu Crater, and the lush landscape of the Hualalai Volcano. End the journey with spectacular views of Kiholo Bay and Puu Waawaa Forest Reserve—an unforgettable sight!
Soar over Kona's coastline, Hualalai Volcano, and the scenic Ali’i Drive, Hawaii's iconic scenic and coastal highway. Our pilot will then take us over the golden sand beaches of Anaehoomalu and Makalawena, where you'll be absolutely blown away by Hawaii’s beauty.
If you're looking for the ultimate experience, we recommend this 90-minute flight. We'll soar over Kailua Bay, offering breathtaking views of Mauna Loa, the largest active volcano in the world. From there, we'll continue to the Ka’upulehu Crater and Hualalai Volcano, before marveling at the majestic summit of Mauna Kea, towering 13,123 feet (4,000 meters) above sea level.
In the northern part of the island, you'll see Kohala Volcano and the lush Puu Waawaa Forest Reserve. We'll explore the picturesque coastlines of Kawaihae and Kohala, with their vibrant green Pololu and Waimanu valleys and the stunning Laupahoehoe Nui and Wai’ilikahi waterfalls. Flying over Waipio Valley, you'll admire its striking black sand beach before heading to the turquoise bays of Anaehoomalu and Kiholo.
