We booked the visit to Orange Island and snorkeling. Everything went well, except for the 45-minute delay of the transfer and the rude driver. Fortunately, the guide Khaled was delightful and professional. Serious note: the boats discharge the toilets into the sea with visible paper and waste while swimming. This happens in a nature park with a €10 fee, violating the MARPOL Convention that prohibits the discharge of untreated sewage near the coast. It's not the tour operators' fault, but it needs to be addressed. Opinion translated. Show original.

The excursion was good overall. The island is beautiful, and the accommodation we had was very comfortable. We spent a couple of hours on the island, which was enough, and we were protected from the sun. The snorkeling was very interesting, and the food was delicious—perhaps a small portion, but a little bit of everything. They picked us up from the hotel and dropped us off there as well. The only thing that could be improved is that the staff were insistent on taking photos to sell later; they should ask about that at the beginning. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Everything was great, Orange Bay beach is stunning. It's true that it's just the beach and a rather expensive bar. The snorkeling was shorter than expected due to the weather conditions; it was quite windy. It was a small group of about 12 people. The food on board was very good, and our guide, Mo, a cheerful guy, made the day enjoyable. He also accommodated the group's requests. Opinion translated. Show original.

A great experience, 100% recommended, the snorkeling experience is unique, you can see corals and a large number of fish, although it lasts very little time for my taste, 20-30 min twice. We also didn't do the banana boat, and they didn't explain the reason... I think they assume it's not done. Orange Bay is incredibly beautiful, but very crowded, but it's impossible to avoid. Pontos Positivos : -A ilha é incrivel e vale a pena a visita.

Positive Points: -The island is amazing and worth a visit. -The staff was friendly Negative Points -Delay in departure -It was a rather unpleasant day and we were not given the option to reschedule -Duration of snorkeling was very short, they did not stop near the reefs, we had to swim there and when we arrived we were there for very little time. -Constantly asking for tips, it is practically mandatory, otherwise you only see long faces -The lunch on board also left much to be desired

The only downside was having to wait an hour to leave the port, but after that the experience is exactly as described. Opinion translated. Show original.

Disastrous organization from start to finish. Long waits in the blazing sun, unbearable heat, a delayed boat, snorkeling equipment in terrible condition, and no clear information about the activities. We even had to wait another 30 minutes for the return transfer. A very disappointing excursion; we felt like we wasted an entire day of our vacation. I do not recommend it. Only one snorkeling stop and no banana boat ride.

I think it was just okay, except for the transportation, which was awful. They were late picking us up, and on the return trip, the driver got lost. A police checkpoint forced him to turn around, and we arrived at our hotel over an hour late. Everything else was great: the food, the people on the boat, and the beautiful beach. I'm trying to file a complaint; I've spoken to the contact person, but they haven't offered any solutions. They wash their hands of any problems.

If snorkeling is your main interest, don't do this tour. It's a 3-hour van ride, a 4-hour boat ride, 2 hours in Orange Bay, and only 30 minutes of snorkeling. The island is a rocky outcrop with cushions and bars. It's a real tourist trap, and you can't move around freely. The boat itself is fine, we enjoyed the meal, and the staff makes the experience more enjoyable. However, it's exhausting being pressured to spend money every 10 minutes. Furthermore, at the end of the tour, they force you to tip and write a positive review.

No vimos mucho. Tercera parada snorkel. Translate this opinion into English.

Incredible excursion! Pickup at the hotel. On the boat, the staff are very friendly and fun. First stop to ride on a banana boat or sofa. It was 10 AM and it was cool (January), second stop for snorkeling. The water was nice but it was cold that day due to the wind. We didn't see much. Third stop for snorkeling. Lunch on board with a "buffet" and freshly made food, very tasty and a variety (rice, spaghetti, nuggets, sausages, various salads...). Then a stop at Orange Bay for 1.40h and back afterwards. Everything was great!! Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The activity was a lot of fun. The boat is large and spotlessly clean. All the staff are incredibly friendly, and both the snorkeling stops and the island itself are beautiful. The food is decent, not bad at all. What I did find a bit pricey was the cost of the photos the guys take underwater. I've done quite a bit of snorkeling in my life, and I've never been charged for those photos before. Even so, 15 euros for four underwater photos seems excessive, but since you're not obligated to take them, it's acceptable. Opinion translated. Show original.
