The Istanbul sightseeing bus is a practical way to tour the city with three names. You can hop on and off at any of the stops, allowing you to explore the city at your own pace.
The Istanbul sightseeing bus follows 1 route and 12 stops. Tour the essential sights of the city between two continents and two worlds on a double-decker open-top bus. Throughout the journey you'll enjoy interesting English language commentary about the history and sights you drive past.
The unmissable stops on the tour are: Sultanahmet Square, Galata Bridge, the Beylerbeyi Palace, the Blue Mosque, the Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, and, of course, the Hagia Sophia, the most iconic sight in Istanbul.
You can view the route and all the stops via this link:
The ticket for the Istanbul tourist bus is valid for one calendar day from the time it's used for the first time, that is, a ticket activated on a Monday will be valid for the whole day, regardless of the time at which you have validated it. For this reason, it's recommended to start using the bus services in the morning to get the most out of it.
During this time, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you want. This makes it easy for you to visit the city's unmissable sights.
The bus operates from 10 am to 5 pm, with an estimated frequency of one bus every hour on the hour. The full bus route is about two and a half hours long.
However, please note that these schedules are flexible and may be subject to change.
