The guide was good in general, the problem is that we were 37 people, a very large group to control and the man could not explain much, he was more careful not to lose people than anything else. The sites we visited were very rushed and there was not much opportunity to tell things or ask questions. The organization could have been better, it's not the guide's fault. There was misinformation during the tour, both before and during (clothing, places where children cannot enter, etc.) Opinion translated. Show original.

Bastante decepcionante.

The guide Abraham very well, he explained many details and interesting things to us. But the description that appears on the web does not correspond to reality. The tour does not last 10 hours, it does not arrive at 7, including food and 30 minutes in a souvenir shop. In addition, it says that the garden of Gethsemane and the church of all nations are visited, but they are seen in passing on the bus without stopping and the parliament is not visited. In my opinion, the price of the tour is not justified. Pretty disappointing.

Translate this opinion into English.

The development time of the activity includes from the group meeting and subsequent transfer until the end of the same after finishing the activity. We are sorry for the inconvenience, and that the activity did not turn out as you expected. Opinion translated. Show original.

It is not exactly as it says in the description. Some places are missing. A lot of time wasted buying souvenirs at high prices that were supposedly accessible and are more expensive than outside. The place to eat was a suggestion almost by force, the place was very expensive and the food was average. The agency should refrain from carrying or offering exclusive places for shopping and food that take advantage of visitors at exorbitant prices, Opinion translated. Show original.

The place for shopping is very expensive! Outside locations are cheaper. The lunch place had no options, just choose between shawarma and falafel AND ALSO SUPER EXPENSIVE, other groups were served another type of menu (according to what I comment is that the guide chose the menus). The guide was very good but he got lost a lot in the explanations and he made everyone run to get to a point and spend 2 minutes and go to the next one. He wouldn't let me take photos because he would put himself in front of one. Opinion translated. Show original.

Achei excelente o tour. Translate this opinion into English.

I thought the tour was excellent. The super informed guide Eli, with a good sense of humor, took us to all (almost all) the important points of Jerusalem. Advice for travelers only: try to go alone to the Holy Sepulchre, preferably at the end of the day, when it is less crowded. It's not the guide's fault, but the tours take place in the morning, at peak hours, and it's really impossible to wait in line for 4 hours when you're in a group. I loved all 5 tours I took with Civitatis. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

We would have liked to spend more time in the holy sepulcher than in the holocaust museum. Time is wasted organizing the groups in El Monte scope, then in the old city they rush you a lot in the places both to take photos and buy (since they let you buy in the store where they take you, the same as in the 3 tours I have taken in Jerusalem). In the Holocaust museum, they don't let the guide in and you have plenty of time, it's better to visit it without a tour. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

Very good guide. Jerusalem is very beautiful. Unfortunately time is wasted in a shop, and in gathering the group members throughout the tour. We could have seen more places in the old city. The holocaust museum is impressive and painful for the families that sadly lost their members in that criminalized war. Finally a good and efficient organization for the transfer of the different groups. Opinion translated. Show original.

Avi, our guide, was very good and exhaustive in the explanations, even if the tour by its nature was a hit and run, looking at the monuments only from the outside. The bad inconvenience was that, although we had chosen a pick-up location from those selectable in the list, after 10 minutes of waiting on the spot, we were called by the Tour Operator who asked us to take a taxi to reach another meeting point , which cost us an extra 90 Shekels !!!

Translate this opinion into English.

We confirmed that when he made his reservation he did not indicate the address in Jerusalem where he was to be picked up. This is why the local supplier was unable to get it.

It seems to me that spending an hour at the museum is insulting the museum, which is impressive. You have angered me because we wanted him to eat, we had better not do it because he only gave us 20 minutes in the Holy Sepulcher! At the wailing wall he wanted us to be 10 minutes !! But hey, don't be aware that there are people who use half the world to see that with intensity ??? I am clear that the complete hard ones are not worth it

I have always contracted with Civitates and my comments have been highly positive, as they always give great service, in this case I will not. The reason is that it is a very expensive excursion and can be done without the need to go in a group. We stop seeing the first stops of the painful route, this would not happen if it is done by yourself. Important places on the Mount of Olives are not visited. There are no lines to see the tomb of Christ in the Holy Sepulcher, nor the row of the stone of the crucifix

I travelled by myself

In my opinion it is not a tour to recommend. $73 usd per person is very high for the service they offer. They picked us up at 7:50 at the hotel, took us to a cafe and made us wait more than an hour until all the people arrived so we could start. The visit to the old city was short and we did not see more places than what you see on a free walking tour. The Via Dolorosa... 3 stops, we did not see the Garden of Gethsemane, and we did not visit the 4 neighborhoods either. It's not a 10 hour tour, not even counting the transfers.
