Step beyond the iconic red gates of Strawberry Field and walk through the woods and gardens where John Lennon played as a child in Liverpool.
For the first time, the famous Strawberry Field red gates are welcoming visitors to step into the magic. Don't miss your chance to explore the interior of this iconic spot, celebrated in John Lennon and The Beatles' timeless hit song. Once a Salvation Army children's home, it holds a rich history. Just like John Lennon in his childhood, find relief and respite in these cherished grounds as you explore them.
We recommend planning for a 1-2 hour visit so you can soak up the full experience at Strawberry Field. Don't forget to take a break at the 'Imagine More café.' Indulge in locally sourced treats, and know that a portion of the proceeds from your visit goes towards the continued support of community aid in the area. It's the perfect way to recharge before continuing your journey through history and inspiration while making a positive impact.
Strawberry Field welcomes you every day of the year:
