Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time in the heart of Logroño to begin a walking tour in which we'll discover the main charms of the capital of La Rioja.
The first thing we'll see on our guided tour is the Equestrian Statue of General Espartero. We'll speak about the merits of this soldier during the Carlist Wars and talk about his last years of retirement in Logroño.
We'll stroll through the historic centre of the city, admiring the exteriors of emblematic monuments such as the Museum of La Rioja, where Espartero once lived, and the Co-Cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda, located in the beautiful Plaza del Mercado. We'll take a look at the architectural details of this 16th-century church and then take a pleasant stroll along the banks of the Ebro River.
Near the Ebro River, we'll see the Iglesia de Santiago el Real, the parish church of San Bartolomé and the Revellín wall. Did you know that Logroño was a fortified city? We'll tell you all about it!
We'll finish this free tour of Logroño after 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours close to the meeting point.
