Description
Led by our resident Potter aficionado, we'll meet at The Palace Theater and embark on a magical journey to discover the London filming locations featured in the beloved movies and explore the real-life inspirations behind J.K. Rowling's enchanting wizarding world.
Our first stop will be to stroll down the legendary Charing Cross Road, where real spell books await you. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of the wizarding world as you explore this iconic street. We'll visit the site that inspired the Potter-famous street Diagon Alley, where wizards and witches gather to shop for their magical necessities. Walk along Leadenhall Market and see if you can spot similar motifs between the two streets.
Relive the movie magic and witness the locations that brought this bustling wizarding marketplace to life on the big screen as we turn towards Goodwin's Court, the inspiration for shadowy Knockturn Alley, the sinister counterpart to Diagon Alley.
Unearth the inspiration behind Gringotts, the goblin-run bank where fortunes are stored and safeguarded. Learn about the real locations that served as the muse for this impressive establishment. As we continue, we'll discuss the record-breaking movie premiere that brought the wizarding world to life in London like never before.
We'll also discuss our beloved author, J.K. Rowling, the brilliant mind behind the magical universe of Harry Potter. Learn about her inspirations and challenges as she wrote the book series. We'll discuss this as we explore the locations that inspired the majestic Ministry of Magic, the governing body of the wizarding world.
