Tour Options

When booking, you can pick between 2 private tours of Lyon. Both tours last two hours and are customisable, meaning you'll be able to tailor the tour to your liking, visiting points in the city that interest you the most. You can see the details of each option below.

Old City Private Walking Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at 4 Av. du Doyenné, in Lyon. Accompanied by our guide, we'll explore the best places in Vieux Lyon, the city’s charming historic district.

During the tour, you'll surely want to uncover the hidden "traboules," secret passageways intertwined with the neighbourhood’s history. Along the way, we’ll also have the chance to visit one of the remarkable spiral staircases within the traboules.

One of the Old City's highlights is the fascinating astronomical clock of Lyon Cathedral—the stained-glass windows are truly impressive!

Architecture Private Walking Tour

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourvière in Lyon and prepare to admire the city's best architecture.

As we explore the area, we’ll observe the fascinating blend of traditional and modern architecture, with each building telling its own unique story. Another architectural gem we'll see is the stunning Gothic-style Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral.

Throughout the tour, we’ll delve into how Lyon’s architectural landscape has been shaped by influential figures such as Tony Garnier and the Lumière brothers, as well as how the city’s rich cultural identity was forged during the Renaissance and the Industrial Revolution.
