Explore Madrid’s most famous bull ring during a 1-hour audio-guided tour and learn about a tradition that has existed in Spain since Roman Times, and discover how it has evolved throughout the years.
The Las Ventas tour begins at the scheduled time, entering through the Puerta Grande, where every bullfighter dreams of being carried out on the shoulders of the crowd. Are you ready to discover all the secrets of this iconic bullring?
With a capacity of 23,797 spectators, Las Ventas is the largest bullring in Spain. It was built in 1929 on the site known as Las Ventas del Espíritu Santo, hence its name. It is considered by professionals, fans, and critics alike to be the most important bullring in the world.
Throughout the tour, you’ll see areas such as the terrace, the upper stands, the arena, the alleyway, the drag gate, the bull pen gate, the corridor, the infirmary gate, the crew courtyard, and, of course, the gift shop, where you can buy everything from T-shirts and banderillas to bullfighting costumes.
After putting yourselves in the shoes of the three main protagonists, the audience, the bullfighter, and the bull, you’ll have a much better understanding of what this passion is all about. The tour ends at the museum entrance after 1-long visit.
This tour is also available as a private tour. You can contact us to request a quote and make a reservation.
