On this private tour of the Museo del Prado, you'll visit one of the most important art galleries in the world with an English-speaking guide just for you. It'll be an exclusive experience!
We'll meet at the designated time in front of the Monument to Goya before entering the Museo del Prado. Are you ready to begin a private tour of one of the most important pinacotecas in the world? Let's explore!
During the tour, apart from the artworks, you'll learn about the building's history, from its construction in the 18th century to how it became one of the most visited museums in the world. Of course, we'll see the permanent collections to admire the most famous paintings.
We'll see the great treasures of El Prado up close, like Velázquez's Las Meninas, Bosco's The Garden of Earthly Delights, or Goya's dramatic scenes. We'll also marvel at the elegant portraits by Tiziano and the expressiveness of artworks by Rubens and El Greco. As you observe the pieces, an art history expert guide will explain the details, secrets, symbols, and history hidden behind each brush stroke.
You'll also discover other pieces from the museum, such as the sculptures, decorative arts, medals, drawings, stamps, and other items that make the museum's collection even more enriching. It's a true cultural gem in the heart of Madrid!
1.5 hours later, we'll conclude the tour, where you can leave the museum or stay inside to continue exploring at your own pace.
By booking this private tour, you'll have an English-speaking guide just for you. You'll be able to enjoy a much more personalized tour and see the pieces most interesting to you!
