Superou as nossas expectivas. Recomendamos vivamente. Translate this opinion into English.

It exceeded our expectations. The explanations given by Biologist Guilherme were very interesting, keeping all participants very engaged. This prevented them from talking amongst themselves, allowing us to hear the explanations clearly. We highly recommend it. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Fantastic, the boat was wonderful. The guide was very knowledgeable, a biologist, and his commentary was spectacular; the surroundings were stunning. We would definitely do it again. Then there was the tasting of white and red port wine. The worst part was some of the other tourists on the boat who didn't know how to behave. Opinion translated. Show original.

The rocks are very beautiful; nature offers various varieties of trees, pulling them out where it seems impossible for them to grow... It's a shame they don't give explanations in French or with little listeners... May this walk continue many more times.

The boat trip itself is excellent; they explain all the protected areas in detail, how they care for and monitor the water, and the beautiful surroundings. That said, our trip was scheduled for 4 pm Spanish time, but we didn't leave until 5 pm. We arrived earlier, so we lost more than two hours. It wasn't just me; if it had been, I would think it was my mistake. Many of us confused the time... I don't think so.

I travelled with friends

Translate this opinion into English.

We understand the confusion this may have caused. However, both our website and the booking voucher state that the activity departs from Miranda do Douro (Portugal) and that the 4:00 PM time corresponds to Portuguese time, which is 5:00 PM Spanish time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your feedback, which helps us continue improving the information we provide. Opinion translated. Show original.

We really enjoyed it. The guide was not only friendly but also explained the flora and fauna we saw during the walk very well. Being able to see the microscopic animals in the water of the Duero River was fascinating. Highly recommended. Opinion translated. Show original.

A fantastic experience. Everything was very well thought out. The tour, the details of the landscape, the nature, the guide who directs our gaze and gives us a true lesson in citizenship... it's a source of pride to know that a project like this, with such high quality, exists in Portugal. Translate this opinion into English.

The site is very well set up to keep you cool (which is much appreciated). It's an activity where you're asked to be quiet so you can spot the animals (if you're not, they'll tell you off, which I think is fair). The biologist who explained the route to us, Carlos, was friendly and explained everything very well. The children enjoyed it, and it was a great way to spend an entertaining afternoon. It's definitely worth it. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

It pains me to say it, but it's impressive how well-maintained the Portuguese side is, and the infrastructure is excellent, compared to the neglected Spanish side. As soon as you cross the border into Spain, even the asphalt deteriorates, and the viewpoints overlooking the Arribes are much better maintained. The cruise, well-explained by Guillerme, was very well organized and a truly enjoyable experience. Opinion translated. Show original.

It's very interesting, not only because of the spectacular scenery and the guide's explanations, but also because they demonstrate some very curious experiments along the way. It all makes it feel very short. Highly recommended. There's another, longer one that I hope to do next time. Opinion translated. Show original.

Me parece deplorable...

The activity itself was very good. However, it coincided with the Arribes fire that started in Fermoselle. Since we had to travel from a village in Zamora to Miranda do Douro, and it took us an hour and a half to get there, and we weren't given any information, we tried to contact Civitatis and the biological station itself, without receiving any response by phone or message. Since it couldn't be canceled, we risked going anyway, not knowing if the cruise would even take place. I find it deplorable...

Normal.

Normal. I think the trip could very well have been extended to the point where the contraband passed. It's a historic place, important for Portugal and Spain. Given that spotting the birds depends on the birds themselves and you practically don't see anything, it feels like just another boat trip. The final offering, although well-intentioned, does not speak well of Port wine due to its poor quality.

The opinions you gave were Exactly, Very Good, and Normal. I would mark Normal as (Good)*. It was a hot day, and the fans weren't sufficient. Perhaps if all the fans sprayed a fine mist of water, their effect would be more noticeable. Not just some, but all of them. The closed roof creates a greenhouse effect, and on hot days, visiting is difficult. Many elderly people with sensitive thermoregulatory systems experience a drop in blood pressure, which I think should be improved.

The glass-enclosed boat, even with fans, is unsuitable for crossings during the hottest hours. The scenery is spectacular. In our case, no animals appeared: no otters, no Egyptian vultures, no eagles... just three griffon vultures and a heron. The duck pond at the entrance was in a sorry state.

Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

The cruise departed on schedule. We were accompanied by excellent professionals, friendly people, from whom I had the opportunity to learn about other types of activities that are about to be offered. Although there was some noise at the beginning caused by babies crying, the rest of the trip was peaceful and very relaxing, in perfect harmony with nature. We didn't manage to see the eagles and otters, but I loved the activity. Opinion translated. Show original.
