Experience Chicago the Musical, the longest-running music performance on Broadway. Twenty million people from all over the world have already enjoyed this unique musical since its opening night in 1975.
Chicago is set in the mid-20th century in the "City by the Lake" and tells the story of an apparently innocent actress who dreams of following the steps of the artist Velma Kelly to succeed in life. Roxie meets Velma when these two are put in jail, both accused of murder. From then on, Velma and Roxie fight for the limelight and to demonstrate their innocence.
Chicago has been awarded 6 Tony Awards, 2 Laurence Olivier Awards and 1 Grammy, among many others. The musical includes contemporary topics like corruption or media manipulation, making it a resounding success and one of the best musicals on Broadway. Many tourists organize a trip to New York City just to see this show!
Although there are 8 shows a week, tickets are quickly sold out, so we recommend booking at least 2 months in advance.
The Ambassador Theatre allocates the seats at the time of booking on a best-available-seat basis, so we recommend you book the tickets as soon as possible to get a good place!
We have Orchestra or Rear Mezzanine seating, so your seats will be in the stalls (98% of the time) or in the front lines of the Mezzanine, ensuring a great view of the Musical.
The Orchestra is the area on the ground floor or stalls closest to the stage. It offers a direct view of the show. The Mezzanine area refers to the first level above the Orchestra area. It's ideal for appreciating the entire stage and choreography.
The Rear seats are usually cheaper and are located in the back of each section, offering a better overview of the scenography.
The Ambassador Theatre hosts Chicago. It has a seating capacity of 1,124. Due to its large stage, the stall is long rather than deep, which means that the guests will be close to the stage and to the artists.
Since this is such a popular musical, tickets quickly run out. If there are no tickets left on our website, you can try and purchase them on the online resale site: Seat Geek.
