Join us to enjoy the wine culture of Sardinia on this wine tour in Olbia. We'll see extensive vineyards and visit a winery with tasting included. Perfect for wine lovers!
At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Brin Pier, near the Olbia Yacht Club. We'll board a minibus and start this wine tour. On our route we'll admire the vineyards of northern Sardinia and learn about the wine culture of the island.
As we travel around Olbia, you'll learn all about Sardinia's wine tradition with the help of an English-speaking audio guide. We'll discover how the civilizations that have passed through these lands have influenced the wine culture. Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs, Genoese, Aragonese... They have all played their part in making this island an ideal destination for lovers of good wine.
We'll see hillsides full of vineyards until we reach a winery, where we'll take a tour of its facilities, including the barrel room and the fermentation room. The tour will allow us to learn how Sardinian wines are produced and which grape varieties are found in Sardinia.
Afterwards, we'll enter the tasting room to enjoy a tasting that includes three glasses of wine and a platter of cold meats, cheeses and olives - it's enough to make your mouth water!
After two hours of sightseeing, we'll end our wine tour of Olbia arriving back at the starting point.
