Palma de Mallorca is full of fun secrets. Discover its most surprising stories on this mysteries and legends free tour of Palma.
We'll kick off this mysteries and legends walking free tour in the heart of the city.
We'll start by setting the scene, diving into the history of Medina Mayurca, the name by which Palma was known during the Arab period. Until its Christian conquest in the 12th century by James I, the walls of Medina Mayurca were the setting for fierce and bloody battles. We'll uncover the astonishing story of some prisoners who took part in these struggles, and the unexpected outcome will leave you completely speechless.
We'll also pass by the Diocesan Museum, where the fearsome Dragon of Na Coca is said to still lurk. Hiding in the shadows of the night, it terrorized the Palma of the 17th century. We'll tell you the whole story!
Finally, strolling through the surrounding streets, we'll make our way to the Cathedral of Santa María de Mallorca, where we'll recount the unsettling legend of the Walled-Up Lady.
After 2 hours, we'll wrap up this free tour of Palma in the city's old town.
Please note that the order of visits described in the itinerary may vary for organizational reasons.
