Stunning vaults, legendary rosettes... On this guided tour of the Notre-Dame, you'll explore in a small group of a maximum of 5 people the interior of one of Paris' symbols, which was restored after the fire that damaged it in April 2019.
At the designated time, we'll meet at the statue of Charlemagne, located in front of the Notre-Dame de Paris. Are you ready to discover this symbol of Paris? The cathedral, located on the Île de la Cité, is one of the most important medieval gems of the French capital.
After a short introduction, we'll enter to explore its main nave and chapels in a small group of a maximum of 12 people. On this visit, you'll see how the light enters through the rosettes of the Notre-Dame de Paris, admire its stained glass windows, and notice the biblical scenes they depict.
As we explore its main nave and the High Altar, we'll tell you about the origins of Notre Dame, which date back to the 12th century, and discover the cathedral's subsequent architectural, historical, and cultural evolution. We'll also see its imposing vault and ribs, where we'll admire the characteristics of Gothic art.
We'll also talk about the large fire that damaged Notre-Dame in April 2019. You'll learn about which parts of the cathedral were more affected and appreciate how the restoration carried out in the following years made it possible to recover the most damaged structures.
Our tour will continue by marveling at the cathedral's main treasures, among which the organ of Notre-Dame, The Pietà by Nicolas Coustou, and other important sacred art stand out.
Finally, we'll conclude this 1-hour tour inside the Notre-Dame, where you can continue exploring the naves and chapels you liked best on your own.
You can book up to 1 day 12 hours in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
