Want to explore Pisa in a different way? In this fun rafting activity, we'll paddle down the Arno River and enjoy a delicious aperitif onboard.A unique way to explore this beautiful Tuscan city!
We'll meet at the indicated time at Lungarno Cosimo I dei Medici, where, after learning some simple safety rules and equipping ourselves with all the necessary equipment, we'll be ready to paddle down the Arno River in a raft. Ready to discover Pisa in a different way?
First of all, we'll fuel up with an aperitif on board, including finger food and a drink. Then, we'll start paddling on the Arno River, one of the main rivers in Tuscany. As we float down the river, we'll discover the importance of this river in the history of Pisa.
Along this rafting route, we'll see different important monuments in the city from the boat, such as the church of Santa Maria della Spina, the Royal Palace and the Town Hall. We'll also paddle past the old Medici shipyards, which now house the Museum of Ancient Ships.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll bring our adventure to an end after 1.5 hours.
