With this tour, you can see three of the unmissable Lanzarote sights: the Timanfaya National Park, the Cueva de los Verdes, and the Jameos del Agua.
Having picked you up at your hotel, we hit the road to the Timanfaya National Park, an absolute must-see sight in Lanzarote.
Passing through the so-called "Volcano Route," otherwise known as "Fire Mountains," we'll learn of the peculiarities of this crater-filled landscape. Their nicknames are no exaggeration. In the area of the park known as Hilario's Islet, we'll see firsthand a demonstration of the geothermal power of these lands: a simple but spectacular experiment in which a bucket of water is emptied into a hole in the ground (where the temperature can reach 600 degrees) and moments later emerges as a powerful jet of steam.
Having recovered your energy following free time to eat lunch, we'll then head north to visit two of the most famous attractions on the island. First, we dive into the Cueva de los Verdes, which was created through the collapse of the volcanic terrain. The natural grotto houses inside it are a surprising secret, which for the moment will remain as such. You'll have to take the trip...
Just around the corner, you can find the Jameos del Agua, another space molded by lava following the eruptions of the La Corona Volcano. These humid and dark areas are where white crabs live, a diminutive species, both albino and blind. The local artist and architect César Manrique left his imprint on this impressive natural space by designing a beautiful space with gardens, a swimming pool, an auditorium, and a restaurant.
Having visited the Jameos, we'll return to the hotels late in the evening
