Discover the rich history of chocolate at Choco-Story Prague. Enjoy tastings, live demonstrations, or create your own chocolate bar in a workshop in central Prague.
Step into the captivating world of chocolate at Choco-Story Prague, located in the heart of the city at Celetná 10, right by the iconic Old Town Square. Choco-Story is a museum that brings the rich history of this beloved treat to life. Discover how cocoa, once sacred to the ancient Aztecs and Mayans, travelled across the globe and became a European delight. As one of the top 10 most visited chocolate museums in the world, Choco-Story Prague is a must-see for chocolate lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
The museum offers 2 unique experiences to choose from. Below, you’ll find the details of each option:
This option includes an audio-guided tour through the museum's engaging exhibits. You'll learn how the cocoa bean is transformed into chocolate with the help of illustrations, informative panels, and videos. You’ll also get to watch a master chocolatier in action, creating sweet treats like Belgian pralines right before your eyes.
Of course, no visit would be complete without a tasting! You'll get to sample up to 5 different types of chocolate from around the world, each offering a unique flavour and story.
Finally, you'll be able to check out the gift shop and browse the delicious chocolates available.
For a more hands-on experience, start your visit with a 45-minute chocolate-making workshop. Under the expert guidance of a professional chocolatier, you’ll learn key techniques like dipping and decorating, to craft your very own chocolate bars to take home and enjoy.
After the workshop, you’ll be able to explore the museum as described in the previous option, exploring the history of the cacao bean and its journey to today's chocolate.
