I found the tour boring. It's true you see some beautiful places (because the city is beautiful), but all they tell you are historical facts, and I found it truly tedious. I didn't find it a captivating tour at all. A shame. The guide was very friendly, but overall, the tour dragged on.

Translate this opinion into English.

We had an amazing experience with Andrés in the city of Quebec. We learned a bit about the history of the city, which is reflected in its parks, sculptures, and buildings. I recommend this tour for Spanish speakers. It's important to be ready to climb stairs (at the beginning of the tour). Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The activity went well, but there is one thing that is misleading: on the civitatis page, you state that the usual tip is 10 to 15 € per person, and the guides when they arrive say that what is considered the minimum is 30 dollars per person (this happened to me in Toronto and Quebec). ¡Totalmente recomendado! Excellent tour with Juan. His Colombian flair, combined with his life in Canada (he's lived here since he was 8), makes the tour incredibly enjoyable, personal, and fun. His love for this city is evident, and he enjoys it as much as you do. His explanations are top-notch, his friendliness is incredible, and his energy is fantastic. Highly recommended!

Juan, the guide, was very good. He was very dedicated and excellent. But near the end of the tour, a heavy storm hit, and he continued. He should have waited a few minutes for the storm to pass before continuing. Many people left. And those of us who stayed out of politeness ended up completely soaked.

Para ser freed Translate this opinion into English.

The guide Juan was excellent. The explanations and information about Québec were enjoyable and a way to understand the country. He is a great connoisseur of history. The downside is that there was a price set for being freed; we were about 20 people at 30 dollars, which makes the total quite high for an hour. To be freed. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The tour and Andrés' explanations were excellent. However, the website recommends a tip of $10-$15 per person, but the guide asked for $30 per person. This changed our family budget, and we had to adjust to our original plan. Opinion translated. Show original.

I usually take this type of tours when I travel, but this one fell a bit short for me. The guide was very friendly and provided us with valuable information, but it could have been better. We took the tour alone because no one else signed up, so I didn't think it was fair that they asked for a minimum tip of $30 per person as if it were a personal tour. I felt it was a high price for what I received. It wasn't our fault that no one else signed up.

The tour started off weak, the explanations were quite brief and lacking energy. As the minutes went by, the guide improved his attitude and the overall level picked up quite a bit. In general terms, I would rate it as "very good," but I lower the score because at the beginning of the tour the guide mentioned that in Quebec it was customary to leave around 30 USD per person as a tip, something that, in my experience, is not common in any free tour in the world.
