After a short introduction to the town, which belongs to the Lapurdi region of the French Basque Country, we'll head to the Church of St John the Baptist. This church was where the wedding of Louis XIV and Maria Theresa of Austria, the daughter of the Spanish king Philip IV, took place.

Continuing our tour, we'll then stroll along the Maison de l'Infante, a luxurious palace where Maria Theresa of Austria stayed before her marriage to Louis XIV. This building is found in front of the port, where you'll learn about the role the dreaded pirates played in this town in southern France.
Finally, after 1.5 hours, we'll conclude this guided tour in the vicinity of the fishing port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where you'll enjoy the maritime ambiance at your own pace.
