Embark on a magical and unforgettable day trip from Taormina to explore Lipari and Vulcano, which are full of panoramic views of the Aeolian Islands archipelago!
Meet us at the Taormina bus station, where we'll board a bus that will take us to Milazzo Port. Waiting for us is the boat we'll take to kick-start our day trip to Lipari and Vulcano!
During the boat ride, about 1 hour, we'll be treated to unparalleled views of the Aeolian Islands archipelago, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.
Upon arriving in Lipari, you'll have 2 hours of free time to get to know all of its charms. Our personal favorites are a stroll through the old town, a visit to the cathedral, and the Archeological Museum, home to findings over 5,000 years old! Situated in the picturesque Tyrrhenian Sea, this island stands as the most populated within the volcanic archipelago.
We'll meet back at the boat to make our way to Vulcano, the southernmost island of the archipelago, made up of 4 different volcanoes, one of which is currently active. Here, you'll have another 2 hours of free time to enjoy the famous black sand beaches and local cuisine.
Then, we'll make our way back to the boat and return to Milazzo Port, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to the starting point, 12 hours later.
You can book up to 1 day in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
