Nikko and Kinugawa Onsen will have no secrets for you if you book the Nikko All Area Pass. This pass will allow you to access the main monuments of these areas easily thanks to the unlimited transport tickets offered by this card.
The Nikko All Area Pass includes unlimited travel on Nikko's Tobu Bus and the city's train network. On the map below you can see the area where transport is included:
Also included are the Nikko Edomura shuttle, the Nikko-Kinugawa Onsen shuttle, the bus to the Odashirogahara area and a boat trip on Lake Chuzenji. Please note that the latter two only operate between April and November. There is also a return trip by regional train (not express) between Tokyo and Nikko.
The Nikko All Area Pass is valid for 4 days, starting from the moment it's activated. This means that if you use it for the first time on a Monday, it'll be valid from that day until Thursday, regardless of the time of day that it was first used.
You'll also get discounted admission to Tobu World Square theme park and Edo Wonderland Nikko Edomura on presentation of the card, although this price reduction varies according to the season.
Once you have made your booking, you'll receive an electronic code that you can present on the buses or at the attractions from first use. Please note that you must have internet access on the day of the activity in order to be able to use the card.
