With your ticket to the Tokyo Tower Observation Deck, you'll see Tokyo from the clouds! Soak up the Japanese capital from a privileged vantage point like never before.
Located in the heart of the Japanese capital, reaching a height of 333 meters (1,092 feet), the Tokyo Tower rises into the sky like a symbol on the horizon. Are you up for climbing 150 meters (492 feet) into the air to reach the tower's Observation Deck?
Tokyo Tower was built in 1958 and at the time was the tallest structure in Japan. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Japanese architect Tachū Naitō designed this engineering feat, built with recycled steel from dismantled American war tanks after World War II. Initially, its main function was to serve as a transmission tower for television and radio, playing a crucial role in the country's communication for decades.
With your ticket to Tokyo Tower, you'll gain access to the tower's main observation deck, sitting at a height of 150 m (492 feet). From here, you'll enjoy a spectacular view of Tokyo. What sets the Observation Deck at Tokyo Tower apart is the sprawling 360-degree panoramas of the entire city. At the Observation Deck, you can see landmarks like the Imperial Palace and, on clear days, even Mount Fuji. Don't forget to take out your camera!
But the fun doesn't stop there. In addition to jaw-dropping views of the Japanese capital, at the Tokyo Tower Observation Deck, you can also traverse the dizzying Skywalk Window. Made up primarily of glass flooring, stepping onto the skywalk offers a direct view looking down—you'll feel like you're floating above Tokyo! You'll also have the opportunity to visit the highest Shinto shrine in the capital.
While admiring Tokyo from the clouds, what else could you ask for? Maybe a perfect cup of coffee! During your visit to the Observation Deck, take a break in the cafeteria for delightful refreshments and enhance your experience. And before leaving, don't forget to stop by the official store to buy souvenirs of this unique experience in Tokyo!
Tokyo Tower is open daily from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm. Please note that the last access time is 30 minutes before closing time.
You can book up to 1 day in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
