A bit disappointing, I was expecting to at least be able to walk across the bridge. The audio guide was a bit confusing, it won't be clear which room you were in. Opinion translated. Show original.

We went up to the first floor as instructed, but we didn't know who to speak to. There was only one guy there, so we asked him what we needed to do. We showed him the ticket, and he opened a door to one room, and then another door to another room, which we saw in less than half an hour. There were some interesting things, but nothing like what they advertised. The audio guide wasn't very clear either and seemed like more than it actually was. We left quite disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

The price is affordable but it is very small and I was a bit disappointed.

Me senti engañada. Siempre habia ido bien hasta hoy.

I felt ripped off; nobody said half the show couldn't be seen because the theater was occupied. I felt cheated. It had always been fine until today.

Because the tour is extremely short and there's no map to help you find your way around, especially at the beginning. Plus, some places are inaccessible. It's not worth the price; skip it.

It's not worth it if you're doing the tour of the Doge's Palace; you'll see the prisons there.

The place is very interesting, but the audio guide is a bit confusing. For example, once inside the women's cell, it talks about the men's cell, and we didn't know where to go next. Even so, the information was very helpful in putting everything we were seeing into context.

Translate this opinion into English.

At the entrance of the prisons, the ticket office told us to wait outside, but at the time of the visit, no one called us! We went back to the ticket office and went up, but the guide had already started with other visitors. We were disappointed because we weren't late; we were already there before! The guide checked our tickets, but I don't understand why she didn't do it earlier by calling us from outside and thus confirming that all the booked visitors were present! Patience, I didn't find it nice.

The guide, although well-meaning, was not particularly prepared and did not provide information that was more detailed than what we could have read from the panels in the visited rooms. She didn't know how to answer our follow-up questions, and while she tried to do so through reasoning, the answers added nothing. The palace is quite interesting, but the guided tour was disappointing.

Bravi! Translate this opinion into English.

A very interesting and informative visit. The guide (Pietro) was very talented and engaging, presenting the Prisons with great passion and professionalism, without ever being "lucubrant" or bordering on banal, given the location and its unique history. Consigliato Translate this opinion into English.

I took the guided tour on October 31st, surprised to be the only one to have booked the 12:15 PM slot. My guide, Mr. Pietro, whom I thank so much, retraced the historical period and engagingly illustrated the instruments of torture, both original and restored, for the various types of offenders. With a detailed description, he then "introduced" me to all the figures of the era, including the plague doctor with his beak-shaped mask. Recommended Opinion translated. Show original.
