Montmajour Abbey in Provence was a source of inspiration for famous artists such as Vincent Van Gogh. Find out why and book your ticket.
Located in the heart of Provence, close to the city of Arles, the Abbey of St. Peter in Montmajour is one of the most outstanding Benedictine monuments of medieval origin in the south of France.
With your ticket to Montmajour Abbey you'll be able to explore the fascinating different rooms of this ancient monastery. Get lost in the beautiful cloister of Montmajour: a stunning example of Provencal Romanesque art. Don't miss out on the great chapter house, covered by a beautiful barrel vault that was a milestone at the time of its construction.
The ticket also includes a brochure that will tell you all about some of the abbey's most fascinating legends. Among them is the story of the True Cross.
