Lisardo Castro Bodega Tour + Tasting
We'll meet at the time of your choice at the Lisardo Castro bodega, one of the most outstanding cured meat companies in Guijuelo. Did you know that this town in Salamanca is famous for its Iberian products?
The visit will start in the factory's drying rooms and cellars. Throughout the 10,000 square meters, we'll see how the exquisite Iberian products that make Guijuelo famous are treated. We'll also discover all the production secrets of Lisardo Castro's gastronomic jewels. The company, which has more than 70 years of experience, is one of the most prominent in the Iberian sector.
After visiting the facilities, we'll learn about the importance of tasting, cutting and preserving a good Iberian ham. To do this, we must take into account the following characteristics, the bouquet or aroma, the texture and the point of salt. Distinguishing these three premises is key when choosing a good ham.
Of course, we'll complete the visit with a tasting of acorn-fed Iberian products, which we'll pair with a glass of red wine - the perfect complement to appreciate these delicacies from the province of Salamanca!
The activity will last 2 hours.
