Da Vinci, Michelangelo, van Gogh... On this guided tour of the National Gallery, we'll discover the works of the great masters of art history. A must-see in London!
At the indicated time, we'll meet directly at the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, a World Heritage building located in the heart of London. Led by an art history expert guide, this tour will introduce you to the highlights of a collection spanning more than 700 years of European art.
As we explore the gallery, our guide will lead us through the highlights of the collection, revealing the fascinating stories behind works by some of history's greatest artists, including Leonardo da Vinci, Claude Monet, and Vincent van Gogh.
Throughout the tour, we'll learn how the Gallery's world-renowned collection, founded in 1824, grew to include over 2,600 paintings. From dramatic religious works to luminous landscapes and iconic portraits, this tour offers the perfect introduction to the National Gallery's extraordinary collection.
In the National Gallery, some of the standout works of art include "A Young Woman standing at a Virginal" by Johannes Vermeer, "Bacchus and Ariadne" by Titian and "Sunflowers" by Vincent van Gogh. No matter what type of art you prefer, you'll be blown away by the exquisite pieces throughout the gallery.
After the hour-long visit, we'll bring the tour to an end. Of course, you'll be free to stay in the museum to spend more time exploring the rooms you liked the most.
