Experience the beauty of Okanagan Lake with a hands-on sailing activity. Learn essential sailing skills, enjoy a swim, and explore the region's stunning scenery.
We'll meet at the indicated time at Naramata Marina for a unique sailing experience on Okanagan Lake. Ready to set sail?
First up, as we set off, our knowledgeable instructors will introduce the unique design features of our vessel and share insights about the Okanagan area. For example, this region is famous for its thriving vineyards making it one of Canada's most famous wine-producing provinces.
During the session, you’ll learn practical sailing skills, including how to read the winds and navigate the waters. This hands-on experience not only teaches you how to operate a sailboat but also emphasizes decision-making and adaptability—skills that can be valuable in everyday life.
Once we've put into practice our newfound navigating skills, we'll drop anchor for a relaxing swim. For those looking for a bit more activity, paddle boards are available and included in the experience, adding an extra layer of sport to your adventure.
Then, after 4 hours of surfing the calm waters of Okanagan Lake, we'll bring the experience to an end, back at the Marina.
