Visit with oil tasting (1.5 hours)
After meeting at the Gourmet Oleo Almanzora shop, we'll start a guided tour around the farm. Here, you'll have the opportunity to discover the benefits and characteristics of the olive tree plantation system, as well as the care and the harvesting of the olives.
Then, we'll visit the different rooms at Oleo Almanzora, which include the wine cellar, the packaging room, the gourmet shop and the tasting room. It's in the last one where you'll watch a video to understand even more the process of extra virgin olive oil production.
Finally, we'll also take part in an extra virgin olive oil tasting, accompanied with bread and condiments. Yum!
Visit with breakfast or a snack (2.5 hours)
With this option, in addition to enjoying a unique experience at the Oleo Almanzora farms and facilities, you'll be able to add to the above a breakfast or snack, as you choose, with typical local and seasonal products.
You'll learn different oil pairings, and you will have the opportunity to taste and experience EVOOs with different natural aromas, including lemon, garlic, black truffle, smoked, rosemary and chilli. Delicious!
After the visit, and depending on the time at which you enjoy the tour, you'll have breakfast or a snack with healthy dishes that alternate fruit, cold meats, cheeses, dairy products, coffee, tea, infusions, pastries, dried fruits, etc.
Visit with masterclass and oil tasting (3 hours)
Want a little more? If you choose this option, as well as enjoying the guided visit, you'll take part in an extra virgin olive oil tasting master class with an expert guide.
The first part of the tour will be the same as the option above. Then, you'll participate in a session where you'll learn to differentiate the quality of oils, discover their attributes and defects, and identify their distinct scents and flavours.
At the end of this activity, you'll enjoy a tasting with bread and all the Oleo Almanzora types of extra virgin olive oil. During this sensorial experience, we'll explain the pairings of each oil with different foods. How delicious!
