Join us for a deep dive into the wines of Valdepeñas with this guided tour of the historic Los Llanos winery and the ancient Cueva del Arte, a must for wine lovers!
Activity Details
We’ll start our experience at the entrance of the Señorío de Los Llanos winery, one of the oldest in La Mancha, founded in 1875. Ready to dive into the world of enotourism?
Guided by a local expert, we’ll explore the storage shed and uncover the secrets of traditional winemaking. Did you know that cool subterranean temperatures create a naturally perfect condition for aging wine?
As we listen to valuable insights from our local guide, we’ll venture inside the Cueva del Arte, the largest underground winery in Spain. Here, we'll find over 60,000 barrels of wine quietly aging. Continuing on, we’ll see where the renowned Señorío de Los Llanos and Pata Negra wines are crafted to perfection.
To wrap up our visit, we’ll raise a toast and enjoy 2 glasses of Los Llanos wine—a perfect end to this rich experience.
After 1.5 to 2 hours, we’ll say our goodbyes at the meeting point. Cheers to Valdepeñas!
