Mondego River Kayak Tour
We'll meet at the indicated time on the old road between Coimbra and Penacova, on the banks of the Mondego River. From here we'll head to Penacova where our kayak tour will begin.
When we arrive, we'll listen to some instructions and hand out the kayaks. Then we'll hit the water and set off on this exciting tour. As we paddle, we'll admire the beautiful Mondego Valley that surrounds us and pass villages such as Ronqueira and Louredo.
We'll also pass beaches on the banks of the river and row around the currents. What's more, you can jump out of your kayaks and enjoy a refreshing swim! Afterwards, we'll stop at a restaurant so you can get something to eat or drink.
With our batteries recharged, we'll hop back in the kayaks and return to Penacova, from where we'll take you to Coimbra. Arrival at the starting point is scheduled between 5.5 and 6 hours after pickup.
