On this traditional boat tour of Coimbra, we'll sail along the Mondego River on board a typical northern Portuguese boat. You'll love it!
Do you want to take part in one of the most typical activities in Coimbra? Then at the scheduled time we'll meet in the Parque da Cidade Manuel Braga and walk to the banks of Mondego River to begin our traditional boat tour.
Over 50 minutes, we'll enjoy a tranquil journey as we admire the beautiful views of the most famous university city in Portugal. We'll also learn all about the history of the traditional boat and the importance it had as a means of transport as an economical and cultural vehicle in the region.
Best of all? When making your booking, you can choose the option that includes an on-board aperitif. If you go for this option, we'll serve you a beautiful selection of cold meats, cheeses and jams, accompanied by bread and Portuguese wines.
After relaxing on this typical northern Portuguese boat, we'll return to the meeting point, where the tour will end.
