Why Visit Portugal dos Pequenitos?
Located in the heart of Coimbra, Portugal dos Pequenitos offers a magical experience where culture and entertainment go hand in hand. This space, created in 1940 by Professor Bissaya Barreto, is much more than a park... it's a journey through Portuguese architecture and traditions in miniature form.
Did you know it's considered the first theme park in Portugal? As you explore its nearly 2 hectares, you'll discover why it continues to captivate visitors of all ages after so many decades. Your ticket gives you access to its most iconic themed areas:
- City of Coimbra: a recreation of the city that hosts the park
- Regional Houses: miniatures of typical homes from across Portugal
- Monumental Portugal: the country's most iconic landmarks in miniature
- Island Portugal: a space dedicated to the richness of Madeira and the Azores
- Portugal and the World: a representation of Portuguese-speaking countries
At the interactive Portugal and the World exhibition, you'll learn about the legacy of Portuguese-speaking countries in a dynamic and educational way.
